Syracuse NY Painters was hired to take care of this nice home near downtown Syracuse, NY. The surfaces were in rough shape and needed an extensive amount of preparation work and repairs. Lead paint was present, so as a lead-paint-certified firm we followed the EPA rules and regulations to renew the property.

The team started setting up the work area and removing the peeling paint. Siliconized caulk was used to seal gaps around trims and premium wood filler to patch holes. One to two coats of primer went over most areas, including the siding and trims, wood floor and steps. Some pieces of rotten wood were replaced with new wood.

The entire house was painted using the same color with two coats of paint, including wood and metal railings, mailboxes and front steps.
